Born in Greenwood.
He enjoyed fishing and arrowhead hunting and cherished the times that he spent outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and Cecil Woods; his wife, Vera Woods; and his daughter; Brittany Woods.
He is survived by his siblings, Jody Woods, Melinda Joyner, and Lattra Gerrald; daughters, Barbara Auber, Heather Waters, Margaret Nelson, Lattra Plotts, Savannah Sellers, and Jennifer Woods; and his sons, Anthony Woods, Mark Woods, and John Woods, and several grandchildren.
Family will receive guests at 1:00 pm on Monday, February 16th with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 pm. in the chapel of Deal Funeral Directors, 22757 US Highway 80 East Statesboro, GA, 30461.
Freddy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
