David Kesterton, a beloved brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on February 15, 2025, at
the age of 73. Born on April 23, 1951, he lived a life marked by resilience, kindness, and a
deep love for family, automobiles, and Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
A proud Vietnam veteran, David Kesterton served his country with honor and dedication.
Though his battle with diabetes led to the loss of his legs, his spirit remained strong, and he
never let adversity define him. His strength, compassion, and unwavering sense of humor
touched the lives of all who knew him.
Beyond his service, he was a passionate car enthusiast and an admirer of the open road,
always appreciating the freedom and adventure that came with it. He was a man of great
heart and character, whose presence brought warmth, wisdom, and laughs to those around
him.
David Kesterton is survived by his sister, Marsha Spires; his nephew, Cody Gerhardt; and his
nieces, Candi Gerhardt and Katelyn Kesterton. His legacy of kindness, courage, and love for
family will forever be remembered.
May he ride free on the highways of eternity, forever in our hearts.
