Gloria Evans Grooms

Gloria Evans Grooms, 87, of Brooklet, Ga passed away on June 25, 2024 at Memorial Health in Savannah, GA. She was born to the late Thomas & Neva Evans on October 1, 1936, in Cape Hatteras, North Carolina. She would call Savannah, Georgia home before moving to Brooklet in 1972.

Gloria worked as a loan officer for Wachovia Bank. She then poured her love of decorating into her business, Heritage House Antiques, which she owned for 30 years. 

She is preceded in death by her husband whom she adored, Joseph A. Grooms, Jr., and sister, Edith Oden. 

Gloria is survived by her son, Craig Smith (Joy); daughter, Terry Deloach (Greg); brother, Merle Evans; 5 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. 

Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024 at the Brooklet City Cemetery at 10:00AM.
