James "Jim" Moore Hines

Mr. James “Jim” Moore Hines, age 78, passed away on December 17, 2022.

He was born and raised in Statesboro, Ga. and attended Statesboro High School where he loved playing sports. Jim was a multi-sport athlete playing football, basketball, track, and baseball. After graduation in 1963, Jim remained in Statesboro and worked alongside his father and brother at Hines Speedee Dry Cleaners.

Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing, and he and his daughters loved riding horses and barrel racing. Most of all, he loved spending time with all of his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, J.C. and Henrietta Hines and his brother, Joe Hines.

Jim is survived by his daughters, Holly Hines Cesario (Brian), Heather Hines Reddick (Chad), and Heidi Hines Stills (Paul); grandchildren, Hailey Cash Crunkleton (Ken), Dylan Cash, Joshua Phillips, Jake Bland, Blair Chapman (Scott), Tucker Stills, Brice Cesario, and Nikki Cesario; greatgrandchildren, Jordan Crunkleton, Payton Chapman, and Merrin Chapman; and many nieces.

Jim’s grandchildren are honored to be pallbearers.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at 1:30 PM at Eastside Cemetery officiated by Chaplain Chris Vinson. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00pm at Deal Funeral Directors.
