Karen Knight Morris

 After a long courageous battle with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, Karen Knight Morris was called home on Wednesday, November 13, 2024. She is survived by her son, Nicholas (Natalie) Morris; her shining stars, her grandchildren, Colton and Kynlee Grace Morris; sister, Kynette (Bill) Moore; brother, Jimmy “Pee-Wee” Knight; aunt, Vivian (Mark) Howard; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins (her favorites Leigh and Elaine). 

Karen is preceded in death by her loving grandparents that raised her, John and Lillie Hagan; biological mother, Sherlie Waters; brother, Kyler Knight; aunt, Rebecca Futch; and a very special aunt and uncle, Virginia and Butch Scott. 

Karen spent 39 years as a valued employee of W.M. Sheppard Lumber Company in Brooklet Ga. Karen was known to cook special lunches for her employees, especially her homemade lasagna. Karen shared a love for baking, she was known for her awesome pound cakes and carrot cakes. 

Karen was a true follower of Christ, wherever a hand needed helping she was the first in line . Karen has touched so many lives and will be missed dearly by all of her family and friends. 

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 12:00PM at Deal Funeral Directors.
