Lora Susan Thompson

Lora Susan Thompson, 59, of Metter, Georgia, passed away peacefully and made her way home to heaven on January 15, 2024, in Savannah, Georgia under the care of Memorial Hospital and Compassus hospice.

Lora was born on July 27, 1964, in Williamson, West Virginia. Her loving and loved parents were Grover C. "Curt" Phillips, long time Williamson fire chief, and Shelby Sue Phillips, who both preceded her in death. Lora was also preceded in death by her sister, Lisa Carol Phillips. 

Lora is survived by her loving husband, John Parrish Thompson and brother, Robert “Bobby” Phillips.

A graveside committal service will be held at East Side Cemetery on April 6, 2024, at 11:00 am.
