Loyce Stanley

Statesboro, GA

Mrs. Loyce C. Stanley, age 97, passed away Sunday at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Lumber City, Georgia and moved to Statesboro in 1973. Mrs. Stanley worked for the Social Security Administration for many years, retiring in 1990. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Statesboro where she was also a member of the Camilla Boyd Sunday school class. Mrs. Stanley had a love for flowers and spent countless hours gardening. She also enjoyed playing cards. Mrs. Stanley will be remembered as a true southern lady that was generous and extended a helping hand to those in need. She was preceded in death by her husband, Beverly Allen Stanley.

Survivors include three daughters, Ann (John) Pickren of Cumming, GA, Debbie (Jim) Frazier of Myrtle Beach, SC, Earldean (Bill) Tinley of Appling, GA; one son, Allen (Terri) Stanley of Marietta, GA; eight grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren, all of who loved her dearly.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 4:00 PM-6:00 PM at Deal Funeral Directors.

Private graveside services will be held on Friday.
