Willie Lee Rainey, 77, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro, Georgia. He loved to garden and had a passion for growing roses. Willie was quick to tell everyone not to touch his roses . He was known for baking " the best homemade biscuits". Willie was young at heart and loved interacting with all children. He worked with his friends ,Timmy and Julie Rushing at Harville Tree and Stump for 23 years.

Willie is preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Cora Lee Rainey, Sr; his brothers, Sam Rainey, John Rainey, Charlie Rainey, Sr. and Clayton Rainey, Sr.; his sister, Eloise Rainey; his grandsons, Jimmy Rogers and Shane Green. He is survived by his sons, Bobby Rogers, Johnny Rogers and Alfred Rogers; his daughters, Jackie Rogers and Janice Rogers; his brother, Billy Rainey; his ten grandchildren; his eight great- grandchildren ;many nieces and nephews and his beloved pup, Sweet Thang.

Visitation will be held Saturday February 24, 2024 from 12:00PM-1:00PM at Deal Funeral Directors with Pastor John B. Floyd officiating.

Funeral Service will follow at 1:00PM in the Chapel of Deal Funeral Directors.

Burial will be held following the service in McRae, Georgia at Harrelson Cemetery.
