Dwight Allen Allmond

Mr. Dwight Allen Allmond passed away at his home under the compassionate care of Ogeechee Area Hospice on October 18, 2021.  Dwight was born in Pensacola, Florida to Mose Edward and Mary Jane Jones Allmond but moved to Statesboro, Georgia in 1990.

He loved the Lord and was a member of Clito Baptist Church. Dwight worked in construction for more than 40 years. His enjoyed being outdoors—hunting, fishing and planting and tending his seasonal gardens.

Dwight is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his brother, Mark Allmond.

A Memorial Service is planned for Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Clito Baptist Church with Dr. Byron Twigg officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 AM.
