Gregory "Greg" Patrick Hodges

Gregory “Greg” Patrick Hodges, age 57, passed away unexpectedly  on August 31, 2021. Greg was born in Savannah GA on July 31, 1964 to Johnny and Ann (Oliver) Hodges. He graduated from Statesboro High in 1982.

Prior to losing his eyesight, Greg was the owner of A-1 Quality Carpet. He loved nothing better than to spend time with his family and friends. He was the life of every party and if you ever heard his contagious laugh, you recognized it the next time. And while he loved his family and friends, his greatest love was his Lord. His faith continued to grow daily while he was on earth and now that faith has become sight.

Greg is preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Ann Hodges; his grandparents, Hilton and Catherine Oliver and Lamar and Ulma Hodges.

He is survived by his brothers, Lance Hodges (Donna) of Statesboro, Shawn Hodges (Jennifer) of Brooklet, Ashley Hodges; sister, Melissa Lee of South Carolina; and nieces and nephews, Brandi Harvey, Brad Hodges, Dustin Hodges, Jessie Hodges and Cassie Hodges.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, September 3, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Deal Funeral Directors officiated by Elder Jake Futch.
