Jose Guadalupe Bautista-Ramirez

Jose Guadalupe Bautista-Ramirez, loving husband, father, son, and brother passed away after a brief illness at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia on Wednesday, July 15, 2020. He was 47.

Born on November 25, 1972 to Antonio Bautista Escamilla and Graciela Ramirez Talavera in Cheranastico, Michoacan, Mexico, he left his country as a teenager to find work and a better life in the United States. Mr. Bautista-Ramirez had lived in Bulloch County for over thirty years with much of that time being employed by Brannen Farms, Statesboro, Georgia. He was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church.

He is survived by and will be greatly missed by his wife, Maria Antonio Cano; two sons, Juan Bautista A. Ramirez and Jose Bautista Antonio; two daughters, Flora Bautista Antonio and Maria Guadalupe Bautista Antonio; his mother and father, Antonio Bautista Escamilla and Graciela Ramirez Talavera; his sister, Concepcion Bautista Ramirez; five brothers, Daniel Bautista Ramirez, Antonio Bautista Ramirez, Juan Bautista Ramirez, Gerardo Bautista Ramirez and Jose Luis Bautista Ramirez; and his grandchildren, Jose Daniel Francisco-Bautista, Javier Francisco-Bautista, Ivan Adolfo Bautista, and David Antonio Bautista.

A graveside service and burial will be held Saturday, July 18 at 10:00 AM at Brannen Family Cemetery, Statesboro, Georgia with Father Doug Clark officiating.
