Julia Maxine Nevius

Obituary

Julia Maxine Nevius, 97, of Brooklet, GA passed away peacefully March 10, 2022. Maxine was born January 3, 1925, in Akron OH, the sixth of seven children from the union of Thomas and Lottie (Green) Frankland.

She is survived by her five children, Allen (Betty) Nevius, Lexington, KY, Marlene (Leighton) Riddle, Midway, KY, Michael (Barbara) Nevius, Lexington, KY, Bruce (Nancy) Nevius, Pleasant Dale, NE, Dale (Linda) Nevius, Brooklet, GA; 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Allen; brothers and sisters and their spouse, Virgil and Georgia Frankland, Lois and William Newlon, Thomas Joseph and Helen Frankland, Mary Ruth and Raymond Hortin, Albert Leo and Dorris Frankland, and Glenn and Margaret Frankland.

Visitation with the family will be Sunday, March 13, 2022 from 3:30-5:00 PM at Deal Funeral Directors in Statesboro, Georgia. A Memorial Service in Kentucky is planned for a later date. Interment will be next to her beloved husband at the Midway Cemetery, Midway, KY.
