Randall "Randy" D. Arnold

Randall “Randy” Dewitt Arnold, age 75, passed away at East Georgia Regional Medical Center on March 18, 2022 after an extended illness. Randy was born in Decatur, Georgia on August 6, 1946.  For over 30 years he was a member of Local 1263 Millwrights in Kennesaw, Georgia. He had moved to Bulloch County where Statesboro had been his home for 25 years.

Randy’s favorite book was the Bible and loving people as he did, he wanted everyone he met to hear about his Jesus. NASCAR was his sport, especially the “old NASCAR” when Dale Earnhardt, Sr. was racing—according to Randy, that was REAL racing. He also loved fishing and would go whenever he was given the opportunity. Scooter Toot and Millie Rose, his fur babies, were his pride and joy.

Randy is preceded in death by his parents, Ross and Wista Arnold, and a grandson, Jacob Michael Konitzer.

He is survived by and will be greatly missed by his wife of 30 years, Marigene Frizzell Arnold of Jenkins County; his son, Guy Leonard Campbell IV; daughter, Katherine Elanie Konitzer; granddaughters, Lindsay Nicole Campbell and Lillian Marie Campbell; grandson, Caleb Ashton Konitzer; and sister, Alice Arnold Russell, all of Gwinnett County. Nephews and nieces that Randy also leaves behind are, Michael Jeffery Russell (Ladonna) of Gwinnett County, Leighann Russell Nash (Alan) of Hall County, Blake Michael Russell and Cody Earl Russell both of Gwinnett County as well as a brother-in-law, Tommy Frizzell and sister-in-law, Kay Faircloth.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Deal Funeral Directors with Pastor Brad Waters and Pastor Mark Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the hour of service beginning at 12:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society.

The family would like to thank East Georgia Regional Medical Center for the comfort and care Mr. Arnold received that was also extended to his family.
