Tommy Lebron Thompson

Tommy Lebron Thompson (Pops), age 76 of Brooklet, Ga, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday April 2nd, 2023.

Tommy was born August 19th, 1946 in Albertville, AL. He was a graduate of the 1964 class of Geraldine High School. A master carpenter by trade, he owned and operated many companies throughout his life. He built homes, commercial properties as well as doing renovations.

Tommy enjoyed quiet mornings with coffee, double decker tomato biscuits and he loved hard work.

Mr. Thompson was preceded in death by his parents Rev. J.W. Thompson and Lorene (Nixon) Thompson of Albertville, AL.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years Cherryl Roberts Thompson; children, Craig (Leigh) Thompson, Tina (Jason) Rawls and Hutch (Lillian) Thompson; grandchildren, Buddy (Amy) Youmans and Abbe Rawls; great-grandchildren, Kaylie and Bryson Youmans; Brother, Lynn (Paulette) Thompson.

A gathering of family and close friends to remember and honor Tommy’s life is being held at the Thompson home on Saturday April 8,2023 from 1:00 to 4:00.
